Debate tomorrow night on the Center for Abstinence and Chastity

An event that may interest Equal Writes readers, since there has been much discussion of it on our blog:

The American Whig-Cliosophic Society presents the Princeton Senate Debate: This House supports the establishment of a Center for Abstinence and Chastity.

Time: Friday, November 13th, 8:30 PM

Refreshments (read really awesome food and beverages) will be served.

Whig-Clio is reviving one of Princeton’s oldest traditions: The Princeton Senate, where all opinions are welcome and the entire community is invited to speak their minds. Come and defend your positions or just cheer on your side – and of course, vote at the end to ensure the best group wins! If you’re undecided, what better way to hear the best arguments all around? This week, for our first debate of the year, we’ll argue the resolution “This House supports the establishment of a Center for Abstinence and Chastity.” See you at 8:30 PM at the Whig Hall Senate Chamber this Friday, November 13th, for an hour of debating fun- refreshments will be served!

Agree? Disagree? Speak your Mind!

Come debate the resolution. All are welcome to speak.

Your faithful editor-in-chief, Amelia Thomson-DeVeaux, will be speaking for the opposition.  It should be an interesting discussion.  Come ready to articulate your thoughts on the Center!
